PROJECT 1 (GROUP)
Objective of Project:
- The objective of this project is to introduce building cost planning process during early design stage from the design team’s perspective and to create an awareness of the importance of cost, value and design.
Learning Outcomes of this Project

Understand the cost control process during pre-construction stage based on the latest Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Outline Plan of Work.

Apply techniques to prepare cost plan and evaluate the economics of quality in building.

Demonstrate ability to source building cost data.
PROJECT 2 (INDIVIDUAL)
Objective:
- Understand the types of design that affects the cost of construction
- To understand effective cost cutting exercise
