In this proejct we are grouped into a group of around 10. We are given the task to work in our community to make it more environmental and also sustainable. The place we were working at is Myanmar Refugee Centre, which is a small elementary school located in a shophouse somewhere off cheras. The place was stuffy and very hot the first time I paid a visit there.
In this project, we make use of used wood pallets we found by the roads to make new bookshelves to replace the current ones which were not in a very good condition. We also made partitions using recycled cardboards. As for the result of the project, I find it vere satisfying, as the owner and the students looked very pleased when we completed our tasks there. A lot of efforts had been put in by the group members, but it all were paid off when we see the happy faces of the children.

Through this project I gained a better teamwork skill. I also learnt how to make a proper documentation which includes the progress of our work from the very first until the end. We had successfully identified the environmental and sustainable problems encountered by the Myanmar Refugee Centre, and provide solutions. After all, it was a very good experience working as a group for the community.
